About Our Commitment

We believe home care truly matters and champion increased compliance and funding where we can bring pressure to bear. inTouch has developed an enviable reputation over the last 30 years for being able to maintain an intimate touch, whilst investing within the securities of corporate governance. Our commerciality only strengthens our service provision and ultimately protects some of the most vulnerable in society. We, of course, maintain that family feel, and retain the passion which launched inTouch over 3 decades ago. We achieve this through a combination of our recruitment and retention strategies, being balanced against our perpetual drive to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.

Our Service

Our service is built upon the nature of the people we recruit, train and develop on a continuous platform. Many of whom simply see care as a vocational calling and just want to give something back to the community or have in many instances been a primary carer for a direct member of their own family. It’s these people which enable inTouch to assure all of our partners of the consistency and continuity they so richly deserve. Through on-going investment within the welfare and wellbeing of our own teams, this ethos breeds positive behaviours which compliment the skills and knowledge we develop within all of our care staff.

Today we have grown to be the market leader in our local areas and due to demand from clients continue to expand our daily and live in services. Our commitment to delivering the home care services you desire, how you want them, when you want them in the comfort of your own home is stronger now than at any time.

Our services are different, we put you our Client first, inTouch daily and live in services are highly flexible and respond quickly to your ever-changing needs and priorities. We work together with families to keep our Clients in control of their own care as far as they are able.

We always listen carefully to what you tell us about how you want to receive your care and support and focus on all the little things you need to make your life as easy and enjoyable as possible at home or out in the community.

Our mission is to provide the standard of care that we would want for our own families. This means valuing the unique qualities of each Client and seeing the person, not a list of care needs.

You will get to know your local team quickly through them visiting, assessing, regular contact by phone and through quality visits and spot checks. Building a close relationship that you can trust and rely upon.

Our Complaints, Compliments & Concerns Procedure

inTouch welcomes all your feedback so that we can improve our services and continue to achieve the highest of standards. We have a very open procedure for managing any complaints and compliments. Each Client at the start of our service receives a copy of our procedure in their personalised information Purple Folder placed in their home to refer to. We want to ensure that you are in no doubt about how to report any concerns that may arise or to give us positive feedback on our care workers and services.

Our Commitment to You

Our Care Manager in your local branch will regularly make quality calls and visits to check that our service is meeting your expectations. We are registered with and regulated by Care Quality Commission – CQC and rated by them.

  • We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and share the data we gather throughout our service with them.
  • CQC inspectors carry out regular in-depth inspections checking our services meet the requirements of the law and meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.
  • As part of these checks they may directly ask our Clients for feedback.

We are also members of the United Kingdom Home Care Association – UKHCA, the organisation that supports home care providers to achieve the highest standards of care and support. They also give providers a national voice, enabling us to raise issues that impact upon our type of service provision and this collective voice champions improvements within the status of Social Care within society, local authorities and the wider government.
